Microneedling
Microneedling treatments use tiny, sterile, single-use needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, triggering the body's natural healing response and stimulating collagen and elastin production.
The treatment selected depends on the concern being addressed, desired depth and whether the plan calls for collagen stimulation alone or a combination of microneedling and thermal energy.
Core Benefits
SkinPen Microneedling
A minimally invasive clinical treatment that relies entirely on the body's natural regenerative abilities. It does not use heat and can be performed year-round on all skin types.
Best For
How It Works
Tiny, sterile, single-use needles create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. This process activates the body's wound-healing response and stimulates the production of fresh collagen and elastin.
Treatment Options
Treatment Enhancements: PDGF, exosomes, PRP, growth factors, and Sculptra may be offered as add-ons.
What to Expect
Recovery is similar to a mild to moderate sunburn. The face may feel warm and tight and look moderately red for the first 24 hours, although redness can last up to 3 days. The skin may feel dry and develop light flaking.
Results & Treatment Plan
Some patients notice a brighter, smoother appearance within days, while collagen remodeling continues for 3-6 months after the final treatment. Optimal long-term improvement is commonly seen after a series of 4 or more treatments spaced approximately 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be performed several times per year based on the concern being treated and the patient's skin goals.
